Environmental Policy
The meaning of Solar is to derive energy from the sun. Although as a company we don’t actually provide any technology relating to solar panels or wind farms, we do take our environmental responsibilities very seriously. We have recently introduced a managed shredding service to our office in Bristol making sure all of our paper documents are securely destroyed but more importantly recycled. This saves trees and we are pleased to be able to do our bit.
Being a technology company we are also aware of the environmental impact of all electrical equipment being returned to Solar. Working with the WEEE directive, we try very hard to return equipment back into the market place through our contacts and web sites like eBay or ensure equipment is recycled compliantly.
We cannot claim to be the most or the best when it comes to our environmental impact but our customers can be confident that we are responsible as a company, review all initiatives and will do our very best to move forward environmentally.
