"It is now just over eight months since Solar installed our ShoreTel telephone system and I think it is probably time to say thank you to your company for the excellent work done by your staff, before, during and after the installation of our ShoreTel System.
Before the purchase Peter Broadway worked extremely hard over a long 18 month period to secure the business. He not only showed us and indeed introduced us to the ShoreTel System but two other systems from Avaya, and took us to see the companies concerned and clients using their systems. His attention to detail and balanced information view was much appreciated as was his patience. His support during the installation was also well received and it's really good to relate that he is not a sales person, who once the sale has been made, you never hear from again. He continues to contact us periodically to check everything is OK and has recently visited to let us know of new features in the latest ShoreTel release.
The ShoreTel system was the third system I have purchased on behalf of the College in the 17 years I have been here. The installation was most certainly the easiest of the three. This was due in part to the ShoreTel system being easy to learn and understand but was mainly due to the detailed work carried out by David Alderman, Mark Chaplin and colleagues. The work of the training team should not go unmentioned as they were positive and professional in their approach and were quick to allay any fears in our workforce.
I must also mention the work carried out by Gayle and Nicola who organised the purchase of the new lines and more recently the transfer of our lines and airtime contract to Solar from our previous supplier. They have been most helpful and are a pleasure to do business with.
Since the installation, I'm not saying we have not had a few minor niggles, but that can be expected with any system bedding in and there have been times when we have had to ask for some help in sorting out how to do things. Your technical support team and helpdesk have been most helpful and we have been kept informed of progress when the odd problem has had to be escalated to ShoreTel.
We are very happy we chose the ShoreTel system and that we chose Solar to supply it.
Following the installation, I have your firm top marks in the customer questionnaire sent out by ShoreTel. That was something exceptional for me. I have to say I'm impressed by the continued support that the College received from your company since the system was installed.
